During the session, Dr Jennifer Tangney, Senior Programme Manager of the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) will present the opportunities available for funding and answer any questions you may have.
The MPF has recently entered its fourth phase of implementation with the latest phase running until end of 2027. The total value of the ongoing programme is now some 138 million Euro. The programme is funded by DG HOME and implemented by ICMPD. The MPF implements through four components – grants, technical assistance, dialogue and knowledge management all targeting the external dimension of the EU’s migration policy. Under this new phase of the MPF the target geography has expanded to now include: Eastern Partnership countries, Western Balkans, Southern Neighbourhood, West Africa, Horn of Africa, Silk Route countries, and Central Asia. Therefore the programme is potentially of even greater relevance to states participating in the Prague Process than ever before. There are two Calls for Proposals open – find out more here.
The MPF is a long-term supporter of the Prague Process and sees great potential for operationalising the priorities of the recently endorsed Ministerial Declaration and Action Plan 2023-2027.
This Information Session is organised for the Prague Process states only.
