On 8-9 of December 2014 in the unofficial capital of the Netherlands, the Hague, was held an expert meeting on Credibility Assessment in Asylum Procedures, organised in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Panel on Migration and Asylum. The Meeting gathered more than 40 representatives from the Eastern Partnership countries, the European Union, and International organisations.
The Agenda of the 1,5 day meeting included various presentations on the theoretical framework of the credibility assessment and its key issues in Europe, the overview of the national policies and practices with regard to credibility assessment and a number of case studies of the EU and EaP countries, as well as the interactive session on credibility and evidence assessment, which was supervised by EASO. On the second day of the meeting, the Prague Process Secretariat had an opportunity to present the results of the recently finished Pilot Project 4 and the structure and perspectives of the Pilot project 7, which was launched on the first of November 2014.
The meeting was jointly organised by the Netherland and Georgia with the support of the European Commission.
